Perform comprehensive patient assessments to obtain accurate clinical information Order and interpret tests and exams to guide patient care Diagnose patient needs and determine appropriate care plans Provide treatment including appropriate prescriptive practice Utilize advanced specialty knowledge in neonatology Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope of practice Ensure appropriate and timely documentation of clinical care Coordinate patient education for families to support continuum of care Collaborate with other healthcare providers on patient care Maintain BLS certification and other required certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) Possess manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment Assist with patient transfers, requiring ability to lift and utilize full range of movement Must have current state license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner with eligibility for controlled substance licenses
