Job Description

Opportunity:

Physician - Neurology Locums - Richland

Job Details:

  • Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with one week of call per month (Monday-Monday)

  • Schedule up to full-time with minimum two weeks per month requirement

  • See approximately 15 patient encounters per shift

  • Complete new patient appointments in 40 minutes and 20-minute follow-up appointments

  • Must be experienced with treating Multiple Sclerosis patients

  • Required to be able to read EEGs and perform brain death examinations

  • TOUCH Prescribing Program certification to prescribe Tysabri is preferable but not required

  • Must be experienced with Epic electronic medical record system

  • Board certification required with minimum 2 years of fellowship training

  • EMG, NCV, evoked potentials, and peripheral nerve blocks are preferred skills

  • Overtime compensation applies after 40 hours per week
