Opportunity:

DO;MD - Cardiac Electrophysiology

Job Details:

  • Provide consistent coverage and support for rapidly growing cardiac surgery and structural heart program

  • Role includes a mix of clinic, ambulatory procedures, and inpatient call coverage

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional EP procedures including insertion, revision, replacement, and removal of cardiac pacemakers or cardioverter/defibrillators

  • Perform conversion of cardiac rhythm and measurement of cardiac rhythm (percutaneous approach)

  • Conduct cardiac ablation procedures

  • Perform Watchman device implantation

  • Handle loop recorder implantation and removal

  • Consult on patients admitted under hospitalist and ICU services

  • Participate in multidisciplinary care for cardiac surgery and structural heart patients

  • Must have active Illinois license (IMLC not accepted)
