Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Pediatrics - Cardiology, Internal Medicine - Cardiovascular Disease
Job Details:
Provide pediatric cardiology and cardiovascular disease care in a 20-bed department
Work various shift schedules including weekday days (6:45 AM - 6:00 PM), weekend days (7:00 AM - 6:30 PM), weekday nights (4:30 PM - 8:30 AM), and weekend nights (5:30 PM - 8:30 AM)
Patient encounters vary per shift based on department needs
Must be board certified with fellowship training required (3 years)
BLS and PALS certifications required
Perform non-invasive ventilation management including neo-puff
Manage acute and chronic ventilation for newborns and pediatric patients
Perform intubation procedures for newborns and pediatric patients
Provide conscious sedation and deep sedation
Insert and manage central lines, arterial lines, UVC, and UAC
Perform lumbar punctures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertions
Handle needle pneumothorax decompression procedures
Interpret X-rays and EKGs including PA catheter readings
Perform exchange transfusions when needed
Preferred skills include suturing minor lacerations and swallow studiesFacility:
