Job Description

Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

  • See approximately 20 patients per shift in a 192-bed hospital setting

  • Locums-to-permanent position with ongoing coverage needed

  • Board certification eligible minimum requirement (board certification not required)

  • Fellowship training required (3 years)

  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

  • Trauma Level 4 facility

  • Upper GI endoscopy required including biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices

  • ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) required

  • PEG placement preferred

  • Small bowel biopsy required

  • Lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid), and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision required

  • Liver biopsy required

  • Position available immediately with ongoing need
