Job Description

Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:

  • Provide hematology and oncology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • Possibility of half day off during the week (Monday-Thursday) with hospital call coverage

  • Handle primarily medical oncology and hematology patients with 40/60 split between hemonc and medical oncology

  • See 15-23 patients per clinic shift with 18-25 patient encounters per shift

  • Perform consultations and follow-ups with possible bone marrow procedures

  • Provide beeper call coverage with consultation services

  • Handle 1-2 patients during night call coverage

  • Respond to phone calls and occasional rounding requirements during call

  • Work alongside 2 full-time physicians and 2 full-time APPs in the clinic

  • Must have minimum 2 weeks of availability (bids with less availability will not be considered)

  • Ideal candidate can provide 4 weeks per month coverage

  • Board certification required with fellowship training preferred

  • ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
