Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Transplant Hepatology
Job Details:
Provide call coverage one week per month on an ongoing basis
24-hour beeper call from Monday 8:00 AM to Monday 8:00 AM
Inpatient and outpatient coverage including offsite phone calls and inpatient consults
Consult on post-kidney transplant patients and write dialysis orders
Manage kidney specific needs and consult on liver patients requiring nephrology input
Handle approximately 6 patient encounters per shift
Regular schedule includes hospital coverage Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM and clinic coverage Monday-Friday 1:00 PM-5:00 PM
24/7 call coverage Monday through Sunday
Must be dual boarded in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology (minimum board eligible in Transplant Hepatology)
ABIM board certification required with gastroenterology certification prerequisite for transplant hepatology exam
Fellowship training required
Active medical license or IMLC acceptedFacility:
