Physician - Radiology - Interventional
Job Details:
Full-time Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist position to join a 3-physician/2-APP IR team
Hospital-based practice with day-shift schedule and Q3 call coverage
Call schedule includes every third weekday and every third weekend
Average of 8 cases per day with primarily adult and geriatric patient population
Level I trauma designation facility
IR support includes manager and two APPs supporting the three-physician team
Required procedures include angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)
Additional procedures include orthopedic, gynecological, and urology cases
Must be Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
Active Michigan state medical license required (IMLC or compact license not accepted)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
Site open to providers who can provide 3+ weeks of coverage per month
Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate provided
