Opportunity:
MD - Medical Oncology
Job Details:
Provide medical oncology coverage for 3 days, one week per month
Diagnose diseases, injuries, and conditions using history, physical examination, and diagnostic tools
Provide or prescribe appropriate treatment with a patient-centered approach
Communicate treatment options to patients, address concerns, and answer questions
Use expertise to prevent illness and injury
Accurately and completely document patient care in medical records
Provide leadership and feedback to clinical team members
Consult with colleagues and refer patients to other sources of care when appropriate
Provide availability for office visits, phone calls, and electronic communication
Participate in continuous quality improvement, safety, and patient experience initiatives
Engage in ongoing professional development and self-improvement
MD or DO degree from accredited medical school with residency training in specialty required
Valid medical license, board certification/eligibility, and DEA license required
BLS or ACLS certification required
