Physician - Urology
Job Details:
Provide clinic and call coverage two weeks per month
Schedule breakdown: approximately 60% clinic, 10% hospital, and 30% procedures/surgeries
Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential early arrival for surgery
Handle 16-20 patient encounters per shift
Perform typical urology procedures including cystoscopy, stent placement/removal, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, and bladder installation
Utilize available equipment including X-ray, cystoscopes, rigid scope, bladder scanner, and TRUS
Must be willing to treat pediatric testicular torsion patients and pediatric urology cases in the emergency department
Board certification required with minimum board certification eligibility accepted
BLS certification required
Required skills include general urology (adult), laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures
Preferred skills include pediatric urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy
Must utilize real-time mobile time clock with GPS capabilityFacility:
