Physician - Anesthesiology
Job Details:
Two full-time Locum Anesthesiologist positions available for FMLA coverage
Hospital-based operating room setting
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
No on-call requirements
Average of 50-60 surgical cases per day
Mix of practicing solo and supervising CRNAs in a care team model
Anesthesia cart preparation is not required
Patient age demographic ranges from neonatal to adult
Provide pediatric anesthesia services across all subspecialties with the exception of cardiac surgery and transplant surgery
Required procedures include general surgical cases (neonatal, pediatric, and adult), thoracic cases (except open heart), complex orthopedic cases, neurosurgical cases, and ventilation management
Preferred procedures include insertion of arterial lines and evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology required
Completed Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship required
Active Ohio license required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Clean background with no malpractice history preferred
