Physician - Anesthesiology
Job Details:
Provide medical direction and CRNA supervision
Infrequent call coverage required
May need to work at other facilities as needed
Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)
ACLS and PALS certifications required
Trauma Level 3 facility
Surgical specialties include: Complete Orthopedic, Complex Vascular, Head/Spine, Neuro, OB, Regional, and Thoracic
General anesthesia required for adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma patients
Spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia required
Obstetrical and neurosurgical cases required
Thoracic and complex vascular cases required (excluding open heart)
Complex orthopedic cases required
Pain management techniques including post-op epidural and extremity blocks required
Epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical required
Transforaminal procedures (lumbar and cervical) required
Use of X-ray guidance in performance of blocks required
Ventilation management and acute volume/BP issue evaluation required
Central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement required
