Physician - Anesthesiology
Job Details:
Full-time MD position covering two small community hospital locations
Both facilities offer outpatient surgeries, endoscopy, and short overnight stays depending on patient conditions
Call coverage is required at one of the two sites
Cases include OB spinals/epidurals, orthopedics, upper/lower extremity regional blocks, general surgery, TAP blocks, and bread and butter cases
5 10 years of experience preferred
Support staff includes one Anesthesia Tech plus CRNAs
Shift times: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM Monday through Friday; call required Monday through Friday 5:00 PM 7:00 AM and weekends 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
Daily patient volume ranges from 5 to 20 cases
One OR opens on Fridays staffed only with an MD
MD to CRNA ratio: 1:3 or 1:4 at one site; 1:5 at the other
Candidates must be willing to cover both sites at all times and be flexible with shift times
Needs are confirmed the day prior by surgical and anesthesia staff
Facilities utilize Meditech, Medaxion, PODS, and QGenda for scheduling
