Physician - Anesthesiology


Job Details:

  • 1 PRN MD position available

  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

  • Facility has 138 licensed beds with 2,200-2,400 surgical cases per year

  • 4 operating rooms and 4 non-operating room anesthesia locations

  • Case variety includes heavy orthopedics; no OB, no open hearts, no transplants

  • Anesthesia model consists of 2 MDs and 2-3 CRNAs daily

  • Shifts are 10 and 12 hours in length

  • 2-week rotation schedule: Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with beeper call 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM beeper; followed by Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with beeper 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, then 2 weeks off

  • Supervision model includes 2 physicians and 2-3 CRNAs daily for general cases

The facility offers a manageable case volume with a strong emphasis on orthopedic procedures, supported by a well-structured OR and non-OR anesthesia environment. The team-oriented model of physicians and CRNAs working together ensures consistent, high-quality patient care.
