Opportunity:
Physician - Cardiology
Job Details:
Provide night and weekend coverage acting as 2nd Call
Minimum 1 week per month and 1 weekend per month required, shifts do not need to be consecutive
Shift hours are as follows: Monday Thursday 8:00 PM 6:00 AM (10 hours), Friday 8:00 PM 7:00 AM (11 hours), Saturday 5:00 PM 7:00 AM (14 hours), Sunday 5:00 PM 6:00 AM (13 hours)
Patient population is adult
Provide consults upon request and evaluation & management (E&M) services only; no procedures required
Read Echo and nuclear studies performed in the hospital
Provide care for patients admitted under the Cardiology department
Required to maintain a manual log of all charges
A pager is provided by the heartcare department
EMR system: EPIC
Board Certification in Cardiology required
Active NC state license required
DEA required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum 1 2 years of experience required
