Opportunity:
Physician - Cardiology
Job Details:
Night and weekend shifts acting as 2nd Call coverage
Minimum 1 week per month and 1 weekend per month required; shifts do not need to be consecutive
Monday through Thursday: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM (10-hour shifts)
Friday: 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM (11-hour shift)
Saturday: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM (14-hour shift)
Sunday: 5:00 PM - 6:00 AM (13-hour shift)
Adult patient population
Consults upon request and evaluation & management services only; no procedures required
Read Echo and nuclear studies performed in the hospital
Provide care for patients admitted under Cardiology department
Required to maintain a manual log of all charges
Pager provided by the heartcare department
EMR: Epic
Board Certification in Cardiology required
Active North Carolina state license required
DEA required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of experience required
