Job Details:
Provide extra night shift and weekend coverage across two emergency department locations
Shifts at one location are 10 hours with various start times available: 6:00 AM 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM 6:00 PM, 11:00 AM 9:00 PM, 1:00 PM 11:00 PM, 3:00 PM 1:00 AM, 5:00 PM 3:00 AM, or 9:00 PM 7:00 AM
Shifts at second location are 12 hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Candidates MUST be willing and available to work nights, swing shifts, and weekends
Perform procedures including intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, incision and drainage, and other procedures within the scope of emergency medicine
See and treat patients in the emergency department
Must have completed an Emergency Medicine Residency and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Osteopathic Emergency Medicine
Must be Stroke Certified
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience outside of residency required
