Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
ABEM board certification required
On-site coverage with day and night shifts available (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
Single physician coverage at each site
No call required
Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required, or family medicine with emergency medicine fellowship
Must be proficient in central line placement, intubation, dislocation reductions, trauma management, STEMI, stroke care, and OB deliveries
Required procedures include intubations, central line placement, ultrasound utilization, OB delivery, dislocation reductions, chest tube placement, trauma management, and laceration repair
APP support available at all sites with varying hours of coverage
Average daily patient census ranges from 45 to 80 patients depending on site
Patient population varies by site including elderly patients, nursing home residents, rural populations, and mixed age groups
Level IV trauma centers at two of the sites; all sites see high acuity cases
Case logs will be required as part of the process
2-3 shadow shifts required along with a 2-hour onboarding process
