Physician - Emergency Medicine


Job Details:

  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

  • Will consider Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with current Emergency Medicine experience

  • 12-Bed Emergency Department

  • CT, X-ray, and Lab services available on site

  • 24-hour physician coverage required

  • Average census of 30 patients with solo coverage

  • No APP coverage on site

  • Ultrasound capabilities available (requires transfer)

  • Consultants available at main hospital, typically including cardiology, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and nephrology

  • EMR: Meditech


    • Facility:

    This facility is a 65-bed general, acute care hospital offering a wide range of full-service medical capabilities. Services include a physician-staffed 24-hour emergency room, EEG/EKG, GE Light Speed 16-slice CT scanner, GE Senographe DS Digital Mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, intensive care/coronary care unit, nuclear medicine, open MRI, and a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center. Obstetrics is the only service not offered at this location.
