Physician - Emergency Medicine


Job Details:

  • Provide emergency medicine coverage in an emergency department setting

  • Schedule available 7 days a week with shifts running 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

  • Average of 36 patient encounters per day

  • Average of 3 inpatient admissions per day

  • Both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

  • Support staff includes ED RNs and 1 APP on site

  • EMR/Charting system is Meditech

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required

  • Facility is a Level 3 Trauma Center

  • 24-hour availability of Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology

  • Labor and Delivery department is available on site

  • Onsite orientation required one day prior to first block of assigned shifts

The emergency department operates around the clock with a dedicated team of nurses and advanced practice providers to support physician staff. As a Level 3 Trauma Center, the facility is equipped to manage a broad range of emergency cases while maintaining access to key surgical and diagnostic services.
