Job Details:
Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians board certified in ABEM
Locum need is equivalent of 2 FTEs
Must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
Opportunity to work at main hospital campus as well as affiliated freestanding emergency departments
Main hospital campus may consider less than 12-hour shifts; affiliated freestanding emergency departments require 12-hour shifts
Shift times include: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, and 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
No call required
All standard emergency room procedures required
Required certifications include ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (acceptable if taken at least one time)
Average patient census of 106 with an annual ER admission rate of 34%
Most common cases include penetrating trauma, a wide range of general cases, sick patients, high volume of procedures, and transfers accepted from other hospitals
Support staff available for all areas except pediatrics
