Physician - Emergency Medicine


Job Details:

  • New freestanding emergency department facility position

  • 12-hour shift lengths required with both AM and PM shift coverage needed

  • Locum physicians must be willing to work night shifts to be considered

  • Single coverage staffing model

  • Emergency department consists of 12 bays with an expected patient volume of 1 patient per hour

  • Expected ED admission rate of approximately 5%

  • No trauma center designation

  • Support staff includes nursing, 24-hour multimodality radiology tech, and on-site point-of-care lab

  • EHR system is Meditech Expanse

  • ABEM board certification required; ABPS certification may be considered with a waiver

  • New graduates with EM board certification will be considered

  • One day orientation and one to two days shadowing expected

    This facility is a freestanding emergency department providing dedicated emergency medical services to the surrounding community. The facility is equipped with 12 emergency bays and offers 24-hour multimodality radiology services along with on-site point-of-care laboratory capabilities. As a new facility, it represents a growing commitment to expanding access to quality emergency care in the region.
