Physician - Emergency Medicine


Job Details:

  • Level IV Trauma, low volume emergency department

  • 12-hour shifts with start times at 7:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 7:00 PM

  • No 24-hour shifts required

  • Annual patient volume of approximately 25,000

  • Staffing mix includes 36 hours of physician coverage daily

  • Single coverage from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM with additional coverage through a mix of mid-level providers and physicians

  • Facility includes 7 treatment rooms, 2 behavioral health rooms, 2 trauma rooms, and 4 observation/admit rooms

  • New emergency room and building

  • Travel covered

  • Emergency Medicine trained and board certified preferred; Family Practice or Internal Medicine accepted if ABEM certified or has extensive emergency room experience

  • Must hold an active Indiana Medical License, CSR, and DEA

  • Expect 1 to 5 shifts per month depending on need
