Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology


Job Details:

  • 4 shifts per week, 8-10 hours per day depending on patient volume

  • Overtime paid after 40 hours per week

  • Daily patient volume of 12-15 patients per day

  • Outpatient oncology center setting joining an established, well-staffed team

  • 3 established permanent Hematology/Oncology providers on-site along with 6 RNs, 1 PA/NP, and 6 office staff

  • Light call coverage - beeper only for established patients, approximately 2-5 calls per week via phone only with a 1-hour response time

  • EMR system used is Aria

  • Board certified or board eligible required with fellowship required

  • Active VA license required

  • ABLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required

  • Apartment available for lodging

  • Potential for long-term or permanent commitment with preference given to driving-distance candidates

    This community hospital and outpatient oncology center serves the surrounding region with a well-established Hematology and Oncology practice. The facility is stroke certified and operates as a non-trauma facility, offering a collaborative and supportive environment with a fully staffed oncology team already in place. Providers joining this practice benefit from an organized infrastructure rather than building a program from the ground up.
