Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with potential for 3-6 night call shifts per month (5:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
100% adult patient population
95% outpatient clinic and 5% inpatient hospital coverage
70% Oncology and 30% Hematology case mix
EPIC EMR system utilized
Outpatient support staff includes a Medical Assistant assigned to the provider; Midlevels available to assist with follow-up and new Hematology patients only (not available for new Oncology patients)
Average patient census of 22 patients per day with 2-3 new consults
New patient appointments are 30 minutes; follow-up appointments are 15 minutes
Board Certification in Hematology or Medical Oncology required
Hematology/Oncology Fellowship required
KY State License or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission) highly preferred
Outpatient and inpatient Hematology/Oncology experience required
Intrathecal Chemotherapy experience required
Intracavitary Chemotherapy experience highly preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Self-Query NPDB report required at time of presentation (must be pulled within 30 days)
