Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
Outpatient Hematology/Oncology coverage with interest in long-term permanent placement
Coverage split between two campuses: 3 days at Mishawaka and 2 days at Plymouth
Evening call coverage included at both locations
Patient population consists of adult and geriatric patients
Practice split is 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology
Average of 30 patients per day in outpatient clinic setting
Documentation system/EMR: EPIC
Required procedures include management of VAD/CV Catheters and Bone Marrow Biopsy
Required duties include participation on a Tumor Board, management of Bone Marrow Transplants, ordering tests and images, Blood Bank management, prescribing, and administration of Chemotherapy
Board Certification required (ABMS/AOA board certification in one specialty with demonstrated competency in the other)
Active Indiana State License or IMLC with Letter of Qualification in hand required
BLS certification required
Minimum 6-month commitment required
NPDB Self-Query report required at time of presentation (must be pulled within 30 days)
