Job Description

Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Infectious Disease


Job Details:

  • Provide inpatient care and new consult coverage Monday through Friday

  • Schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call provider taking over new consults after 5:00 PM

  • See inpatients and take call for new inpatient consults

  • No outpatient clinic duties required

  • No weekend coverage required

  • Board certification required with minimum board certification eligible

  • BLS certification required

  • Trauma Level 2 facility

  • Required specialty skills include microscopic specimen evaluation, management of vascular access devices and central venous catheters, familiarity with intravenous medications, central line placement, and intrathecal administration of anti-infective agents

  • Fellowship training required
