Opportunity:

Physician - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:

• Full-time, ongoing interventional cardiology coverage needed


• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM with possible weekend rotation


• Rotation between hospital and clinic settings on a weekly basis


• Provide STEMI coverage and cardiology consults within the Cardiovascular Institute


• Hospital consults range from 8 14 per day; clinic sees 18 24 patients per day


• Approximately 4 5 procedures per day and 3 4 consults daily


• TEEs performed, approximately 1 2 per day


• Primary patient population is age 60 and older


• Support staff includes MAs, PCTs, Nurses, and PA support for in-house coverage


• EMR system: Cerner


• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology required


• Active Arizona license required; assistance available for licensing if not yet active


• ACLS and BLS certifications required


• Minimum of 2 years of experience required


• Strong interpersonal and relational skills with staff and patients preferred
