Physician (MD) - Neurological Surgery
Job Details:
Ongoing PRN locum tenens need with upcoming holiday coverage dates available
Average of 3 patient encounters per shift
Board certification required at minimum certified level
Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS
General Neurosurgery required with adult patient population
Preferred skills include cerebrovascular procedures (open and endovascular)
Preferred experience with carotid or vertebral artery surgery and aneurysm clipping
Preferred experience with tumor and neuroendocrine surgery
Preferred experience with stereotactic radiosurgery including functional and seizure procedures
Preferred experience with VP shunt and skull base surgery
Preferred experience with spinal surgery with and without instrumentation including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar
Preferred experience with peripheral nerve surgery and pain procedures
Preferred experience with endovascular procedures and placement of ICP monitors
Preferred experience with application of external traction, vent management, and central line placement
Fellowship training required
