Opportunity:

DO;MD - Medical Oncology


Job Details:

  • Seeking 1-2 providers to join the coverage team

  • Providers available for both day shifts and night call are strongly preferred; day shift only candidates will be considered, but night call only providers will not be accepted

  • Day shift hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

  • Night call hours: 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM

  • Weekend 24-hour call coverage (8:00 AM - 8:00 AM) available as needed

  • Provide direct patient care including consultations, admissions, and follow-up care

  • Conduct hospital rounding as needed

  • Collaborate with in-practice Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for consults, follow-ups, orders, and patient management

  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary cancer team

  • Provide continuity of care and collaborate with hospital staff and consulting services

  • APP support is available

  • Coverage is shared among multiple locum providers; number of shifts available to each provider will vary based on availability, scheduling needs, and number of providers participating in coverage
