Opportunity:
Physician - Radiology - Breast Only
Job Details:
On-site only position; local candidates only being considered at this time
2-3 days per week, 2-4 weeks per month schedule
Fellowship trained radiologist coverage required to support screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
Proficiency in image-guided procedures including biopsies, localizations, and aspirations required
Must be highly knowledgeable in BI-RADS and MQSA requirements
Detail-oriented reporting and ability to manage same-day diagnostic workups required
Strong patient-facing communication skills essential as results and procedures are often discussed directly with patients
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, clinic-based environment required
Collaborate closely with technologists, nurses, surgeons, and oncology teams
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Breast radiology case mix: Screening Mammography 45-55% (approximately 35-40 per shift), Diagnostics 25-35%, Procedures 15-25%
Patient encounters per shift: 40-50
Board certification required; fellowship training required
BLS certification required
