Physician - Urology
Job Details:
Seeking a Board Certified Urologist for long-term coverage with a 1 year or longer commitment
2 week on/2 week off rotation with flexible dates
Coverage consists of Monday through Friday clinic and OR shifts
Typical schedule consists of 4 clinic days with 1 OR day each week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
No call coverage required
Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
Da Vinci Xi Robot available on site
Facility lodging with amenities available during scheduled shifts
Michigan License, Michigan CDS, and Michigan DEA required
Current board certification or board eligible (American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery - Urological Surgery) required
Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or foreign training in Urology required
At least 50 urological procedures reflective of the scope of privileges requested during the past 12 months required, or successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency/clinical fellowship within the past 12 months
ACLS certification required
Required skills include general urology (adult required, pediatric preferred), laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, and fertility work-up
Preferred skills include nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, incontinence procedures, and pediatric urology
