Opportunity:
Physician - Urology
Job Details:
Provide urology clinic and call coverage, typically 3 to 4 days of call per week
Round on inpatients with an average of 2 to 4 patients per day
Respond to consults in a timely manner with an average of 5 to 7 consults
See approximately 15 to 20 patient encounters per shift
Must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Urology or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (Urological Surgery)
Current PA license or IMLC preferred
General urology skills required with adult patient experience; pediatric and neonate experience preferred
Ureteroscopy, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures required
Preferred skills include advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, pelvic node dissection, robotic surgery, partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, fertility work-up, penile prosthesis, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), renal transplant surgery, and advanced pediatric surgery
