Opportunity:
Physician - Urology
Job Details:
Provide clinic and call coverage approximately 10-14 days per month
Coverage breakdown is approximately 60% clinic, 10% hospital, and 30% procedures/surgeries
Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with potential early on-site requirements for surgery
Typical procedures include cystoscopy, stent placement/removal, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, and bladder installation
Equipment available includes X-ray, cystoscopes, rigid scope, bladder scanner, and TRUS
Must be willing to treat pediatric testicular torsion patients and pediatric urology patients presenting to the ER
Expected patient encounters per shift: 16-20
Board certification required with minimum board certification eligible
BLS certification required
Trauma Level 2 facility
Required specialty skills include general urology (adult), laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures
Preferred specialty skills include advanced endoscopic techniques, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, and ESWL
Provider must utilize "real time" Mobile Time Clock, preferably GPS
