Physician - Urology
Job Details:
Office hours Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
3-4 half day clinics per week
Office includes 2 procedure rooms, 1 UDS room, and 6 exam rooms
See 15-20 patients per day in the office
Office staffing includes 2 NPs, 3 Medical Office Assistants, 6 clinical staff, 1 surgery scheduler, and 1 UDS technician
Office procedures include vasectomy, prostate biopsies, cystoscopy with stent removal, and prostate ultrasounds
Hospital procedures include abdominal sacrocolpopexy, aquablation, circumcision, cryoablation of the prostate/kidney, cystocele, cystoscopy, green light laser prostate, hernia repair, HIFU, hydrocelectomy, Interstim Stage I & Stage II, mid urethral sling, optilume, orchiectomy, PCNL, penile plication, penile prosthesis, percutaneous nerve evaluation, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, prostate biopsy, radical/partial nephrectomy, rectocele repair, space oar/fiducial, spermatocelectomy, suprapubic catheter insertion, TURP, ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy, urethral bulking, urolift, vasectomy, and laser lithotripsy
4-8 procedures per day in the hospital
Office equipment includes UDS machine, 2 monitors for cystoscopies, 3-4 rigid cystoscopes, 8 flexible cystoscopes, disposable cystoscopes with two monitors and a bovie, and ultrasound machine with vaginal/rectal ultrasound probe and Trophon
Required skills include general urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures
Board certification required
Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
