Job Details:
Provide urology clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts) with a 1-hour lunch break
24-hour call coverage also required
Support staff includes 4 Medical Assistants, 1 CSA, and 1 RN
Full weeks of coverage needed on an ongoing basis
Patient population is adults 18 and older, with the exception of emergency torsion cases presenting during call
Typical daily caseload includes cystoscopy/stent procedures mixed with office visits, approximately 24-28 patients per day
EMR system: EPIC
Practice setting: Clinic and Hospital
Robotic surgery experience required
Scope procedures supported if part of provider's practice (not required)
16 total operating rooms available
Supervision of new APPs required
Office equipment available includes cystoscope, towers, and injections
Core procedures include: Vasectomy, Cystoscopy (in OR), Prostate procedures, Ureteroscopy (in OR), Lithotripsy, Orchiopexy, Penile plication, and Penile implants (rare); Vasectomy reversal not mandatory
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology required
Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ required
DEA required
Minimum 1 year of experience required
