Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Acute Care, Physician Assistant - Urgent Care, Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

  • Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older)

  • Work as the sole provider in the center with support staff

  • Handle high volume patient care (average 40 patients per day, up to 60)

  • Perform procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures

  • Use Epic electronic medical record system for all visits

  • Minimum 12 months of experience required

  • Must have required certifications: Board Certification, PA Certification, Family NP Certification, BLS, NC DEA

  • Must complete EMR training and onboarding prior to first solo shift

  • Work with support team including Center Manager, Medical Assistant, Patient Service Associate, and offsite Supervising Physician

  • No call requirements

  • Multiple locations within a 60-mile radius may need coverage
