Physician - Urology

Job Details:

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for urology services at Level 1 trauma center

  • Work various scheduling blocks including multi-day coverage periods

  • Handle 2-6 hours of callback per day

  • Treat adult patients (18+) with exception of emergency torsion cases during call

  • Perform mix of cystoscopy/stent procedures with office visits, typically 24-28 patients per day

  • Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system

  • Access to 16 operating rooms across multiple locations

  • Supervise new advanced practice providers

  • Perform core procedures including vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, and orchiopexy

  • Robotic surgery capabilities available

  • Scope procedures available if part of practice background

  • Support staff includes 4 medical assistants, 1 certified surgical assistant, and 1 registered nurse

  • Board certification or board eligibility in urology required

  • Minimum 1 year of experience required

  • DEA registration required
